As a Cat Town donor, you’re perfectly poised help others step up, too! You know scared, sick, and senior cats can thrive when given a chance, and you know Cat Town delivers on giving those chances to cats in need. You’ve met the cats your gift helped — either face to face or in the emails you’ve read. You’ve felt the joy of giving. When you share that feeling, it spreads. You’ve already made a difference. As a foster, you live with our cats and know their stories intimately. You’ve seen scared cats blossom with your own eyes — powerful proof that “unadoptable” cats just need support. As a volunteer Socializer, you have patience and empathy. You help shy cats learn to trust by striving for emotional connection. Your hands-on volunteer work directly helps cats become adoptable. As a volunteer Host, you help guests fall in love with cats! That same skill can inspire donors. You know our many of our cats well from seeing them so often, reading up on their habits in the Pop Doc, and sharing their stories with our visitors. When you witness fun, goofy, and touching moments on your shifts, the details of your interactions bring your anecdotes to life. As a Behind-the-Scenes volunteer, you’re reliable. You transport cats to the vet, file important documents, support outreach, and generally keep essential processes running smoothly. You show up without the spotlight, purely to help. Your volunteer impact supports every adoption and every cat in our care. You understand that to real change takes a lot of unglamorous work — even without cuddles — and part of what isn't glamorous is the money that goes into it.
