Donate like-new items from your home to benefit Cat Town! We’re seeking fun and unique items to auction off in support of our lifesaving mission. To help us prepare for your donations, we ask that you carefully review what we cannot accept before completing our brief form below.

Please note: We’ll use only 300 total donations in our Yard Sale auction, and all other items will be donated to another organization — kindly keep this in mind if donating items of sentimental value. Unfortunately, we cannot coordinate pick-ups.


What we want

  • Your services, skills, or craftwork: a session of Spanish tutoring, piano lessons, or car washes; a batch of your grannie’s world-famous cookies or your sister’s 4-alarm hot sauce; hand-knit scarves; custom pet portraits, or even a personalized haiku. Get creative!

  • Cat-themed accessories, kitchenware, and knick-knacks (because everything’s better with cats) in excellent or like-new condition.

  • Vintage, one-of-a-kind, and otherwise intriguing housewares, kitchen gadgets, musical instruments, jewelry, and other unique finds in excellent or like-new condition.

 
 

What we canNOt accept

Please carefully examine your items for wear and tear, missing parts, and other defects. Consider whether you might buy the items at a consignment shop in their current condition — if not, we cannot accept them. In general, we cannot accept any of the following types of items:

  • Items currently valued at under $10, regardless of their price when originally purchased

  • Anything broken, damaged, stained, or needing repair or cleaning

  • Large or bulky items (no more than 2-feet in size in any direction — our storage space is limited)

  • Clothing (but one-size-fits-all accessories — like socks and scarves — are acceptable!)

  • Inoperable or obsolete electronics (please confirm all needed parts are present and functioning, including charging cords — we don’t want donors winning something they can’t use and enjoy!)

  • Opened or expired personal care items (e.g. lotions, soaps, partially-burned candles)

  • Items personalized with names/initials (e.g. linens, towels, mugs, clothing), except silver or silver plate

  • Dangerous or hazardous items (e.g. ammunition, explosives, chemicals, flammable fluids)

  • Taxidermy, preserved animals, or animal parts (e.g. ivory, teeth, fur)

  • Cat harnesses, leashes, soft carriers or backpacks, and litter boxes

 

Please use the form below to submit your Yard Sale donations. You can include multiple items in one submission and select a drop-off date within the form. Be sure to provide a description for each item you plan to donate. Submissions are open through May 15, 2026, with drop-offs taking place in May and June.
