Finding Carmen Sandiego
Cat Town microchips each of our cats, so that if they ever turn up lost, we can be reached to help reunite them with their guardian — or, if need be, take them back into our care. When we received an email that one of our cats had been recovered, we phoned the finder to learn what had happened.

February 2024 Adoptions
This February, we leapt with joy to see 28 wonderful cats find their homes, including Forgotten Kittens, seniors, cats with medical needs, and graduates of our Feral or Fearful Program! We’re especially proud and grateful to see these cats adopted because they found the support they needed at Cat Town thanks to support from our community.

January 2024 Adoptions
We started the new year strong with an incredible 40 adoptions! Because of your support, elderly cats like KissKiss and fearful forgotten kittens like Toast and Jam received the time and care they needed to feel confident, healthy, and safe enough to win the hearts of adopters and find loving homes. Their stories are just a tiny representation of the many incredible transformations Cat Town cats can make when given a chance to blossom and heal.

December 2023 Adoptions
Last year we had 463 adoptions — beating our previous adoption record of 458 from 2015, right after we opened the nation’s first cat cafe. We’re proud to have supported as many at-risk shelter cats as possible!

Crouton's Breakthrough
Your support helped us surpass our all-time record, with a whopping 463 adoptions in 2023, and ensured we could stay focused on supporting the cats who needed us most. While we shared many of our team’s favorite adoptions with you from the year, we have one more to share as we reflect on all you helped us accomplish and the work we look forward to doing in 2024. This is Adeline’s story of Crouton.

Who Did You Save This Year (Part 3)
We’re wrapping up the year with more of our favorite adoptions of 2023! As we look ahead to 2024, we hope to share more of these stories with you. Thank you for supporting Cat Town’s work, and making outcomes like these an everyday occurrence for cats who have so few options at the shelter. Your support makes all the difference, and gives these cats a chance at a loving home!
