October 2023 Adoptions
Last month, we celebrated black cat month with 40 adoptions, including 7 black cats. At Cat Town, we know black cats rule! Whether sleek or fluffy; shy or confident; kitten, senior, or somewhere in between, these beautiful cats make great companions — just ask our recently-elected mayors, Cat Town alumni Baldwin and Jojo!

At Cat Town, we’re lucky to have volunteers whose talents seem to know no bounds, and one of them is Olivia! We sat down for a chat with her to learn more about what she loves about making art, why she got involved in animal welfare, and how she combined these two passions to make an impact in her community.
September 2023 Adoptions
In September, we helped 42 cats find homes, bringing us to a total of 334 adoptions so far this year! That means, over the past 9 months 107 tiny kittens made space for older cats at the shelter, 108 cats in bonded pairs stayed together…
Catcow's Story
I fostered Jude when my allergic-to-cats boyfriend got a summer fellowship in Washington, D.C. I knew I'd be lonely, and it seemed like the perfect short-term commitment; I definitely wasn't going to get attached to my temporary kitty.
August 2023 Adoptions
We had another great month in August, made possible by our community’s support! Last month we found homes for 40 cats, including 14 scared kittens, 7 sick and injured cats, 9 stressed cats, and 4 senior cats.
