July Adoption Stories
Senior cats often get passed by, but they have so much love to give with just a little care, support, and understanding. At Cat Town, we give these gentle creatures a soft place to land, space to adjust, confidence to trust, and the chance to relax into who they truly are. We’re incredibly proud when these seniors shine as their best selves, and find people who see beyond their age and embrace them into their families and homes.

June Adoption Stories
At Cat Town, we often see how cats who might struggle alone will thrive when they have the right friend. Bonded pairs offer comfort, a sense of safety, and a path forward — and are often the source of the most beautiful transformations we get to witness. This month, we’re honoring the magic of bonded pairs: how companionship can help cats build confidence and trust in the world around them.

May Adoption Stories
This month, we’re highlighting the power of our foster community. Cat Town’s foster program currently consists of 55 people and 66 cats. These dedicated volunteers open their home, time, and energy to help cats heal, whether they need a calm space to decompress from cage stress, daily medications, or simply patience and compassion while they learn to build trust and find their footing.

Against the current: Marlin, Halibut, and Trout
In April of 2024, a litter of fish arrived to Cat Town. Polydactyls Marlin, Halibut, and Trout came in from a home with too many animals and struggling with a host of health issues. Once at the Adoption Center, the staff and volunteers began giving these boys the TLC they needed to heal and find their new homes.

Supporter Spotlight: James S.
In 2016, James won the youth division of Cat Olympics at Cat Town's Meow at the Moon fundraiser — perfectly pantomiming a cat's prowess with speed and style. James has visited our cats for years with his family, and this month, he became a monthly donor to help us secure our $10,000 challenge match.

In honor of the one-year anniversary of adopting Teddy and Wesley from Cat Town, their new mom helped them write a playful press release, detailing the not-so-scientific but very heart-warming details of their first 12 months together, lovingly known as the “Grief Relief Protocol.”
