ANSEL
Male, 4 yearS
Although shy at first, Ansel quickly warms up into a sweet, chatty, companion who offers soft trills, chirpy meows, and the sweetest paw pokes for attention.
He enjoys soft petting, cuddles, and being held, often melting into your arms. At night, he loves sleeping beside his person, and during the day he alternates between cozy naps and wrestling with stuffed toys. He even enjoys the company of other cats and could thrive with a friendly feline buddy.
Ansel is on a special diet, and needs to remain indoors because he has feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV), which is easily managed and doesn’t shorten his lifespan. Ansel is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and negative for FeLV. Fill out our Adoption Inquiry Form to meet him!

Are very shy, fearful, or need help building confidence
Might nip or swat and/or can get frustrated quickly
Take daily medication, especially senior cats

In 2025, Cat Town celebrated 334 adoptions — including 37 lucky cats in December alone. These cats’ stories are just a few examples of what can happen when vulnerable cats are met with time, care, and compassion. Their journeys remind us that progress isn’t linear or one-size-fits-all, and that foster volunteers who open their homes to these cats are the backbone of many of Cat Town’s most meaningful success stories.
