Oskar and McCrea are a perfectly complementary duo for adopters seeking a bonded pair.
Fluffy, majestic Oskar loves playing with his stuffed mice, is quick to agree to a round or two with a wand toy, and adores bird watching. Although he loves brushes and head scratches once he gets to know you, Oskar is also a shy fellow, who likes to survey his surroundings from the safety of a sheltered hiding space, like an enclosed cat bed, before making his move.
His brother McCrea, on the other hand, is an extroverted people cat! While he does enjoy bird watching with his sibling, he loves cuddling with his people, and tends to follow them from room to room as they go about their business, then snuggle up with them when they go to bed at night.
The boys are on a special diet to keep them both healthy and happy. McCrea, like many cats his age, has hyperthyroidism, which is well managed with medication he easliy takes as part of his meals. Oskar is in hospice, and requires medication to keep him feeling his best as well. Cat Town is covering the cost of his medical care for the rest of his life.
Both cats, being 12 years old, are much more excited about sleeping through the day than zooming about the house, but can be easily roused for playtime. Despite their seemingly opposite personalities, Oskar and McCrea get along great. To top it off, they also look great together!
