Sometimes what you really need is a classic cat. Esmerelda is old school — a gray tabby who loves playing with string, but disdains newfangled toys and entertainments. Hearkening back to the classic cats you may have grown up with, she'd prefer you look at, but not touch her belly — an action she discourages without biting or scratching.

While she’s generally very mellow, Esmerelda still sometimes gets the zoomies and plays with her beloved string. As an older gal, Esmerelda happily eats up arthritis medication when it's mixed in with her wet food or a tube of Churu. She also benefits from a monthly injection to keep her feeling her best!

Esmerelda is an affectionate and loving girl who enjoys telling you about her day and relaxing with afternoon lap naps. If no laps are available, she is very fond of being tucked under a blanket to dream the day away.
