Handsome Elton has had an eventful life for a young fella. Due to an injury he had upon arrival at the shelter, he had surgery on his hip and had to have his tail amputated, which left him with an adorable little stump. But whatever travails he suffered in his wild youth, they did not tarnish his worldview, as he has become quite the charmer and a lap cat who loves having his head brushed.

Elton's usual schedule is breakfast, then a hop and a jump up to the top of his play structure, where he sits and watches the outside world until he decides it is playtime. At that point, Elton jumps up and zooms about the house until he's worked off his energy, then settles into bed for his day-long nap.

Elton greets his people at the door when they return from work for the day, chirping and meowing and weaving around their legs. He likes a little wand play time after dinner, then at bedtime heads to his sleeping spot. In the morning he heads to his peoples' bedroom to greet them and request breakfast.

Elton is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and tested negative for FeLV and FIV. If you are interested in setting up a meeting or have more questions, please complete our Adoption Inquiry form!
