Meet Blackberry, a shy but sweet cat who will warm your heart like a freshly baked muffin!
Despite her initial timidness, Blackberry is a very loving girl. As she’s gotten more confident in her foster home, Blackberry has learned to love head and ear scratches, and will flop over on the floor to fully enjoy them, exposing her cute little belly. She’s cautious with new people at first, but her natural curiosity almost always wins over — especially if treats are involved! It may take her some time to adjust to a new home, so she needs a patient adopter who is willing to wait for her to get comfortable. Blackberry has excellent litter box habits, and is a very good eater, though she can be demanding for food at times.
Blackberry is also very playful, and loves to bat around a fuzzy mouse toy on her own! However, she’s still getting used to handheld wand toys and strings, and loud noises can startle her. After playtime, she’ll settle down for a quality nap session. She likes to sleep near her people, and will often seek out a cozy spot to curl up near her foster, like at the edge of the bed or in the corner of the sofa. Close enough to keep an eye on things!
